During summer months WIC provides families with Farmers Market Coupons. If you receive WIC from the Brockton WIC program, mark your calendar for SATURDAY JULY 20th from 9 am - 3 pm. WIC participants can come that day to receive a $25 coupon to use at local Farmers Markets. Participants must be in active status. Infants must be 4 months of age by the day of distribution. PLEASE bring your WIC card or folder.

Benefits of shopping the Farmers Market? You can meet the farmers who grow your food, ask when it was picked and how it was grown. Give your children something healthy to remember – plan to take them with you to the Farmers’ Market this season!

Buying locally grown produce encourages regional farming. You can feel good about buying locally. When you do, the money remains in your community and stimulates your local economy.
